Started in 1997, the Expo Electric International is the collection of electricity, electrician, lighting, measurement, and automation, attracting manufacturers, distributors, governments, and buyers from all around the world. At the same time, it is the most influential fair in mid-America. In 2023, the exhibition area for Chinese companies covers an area of over 1,300 ㎡, gathering almost 35,000 visitors and more than 400 exhibitors, including 150 lighting companies, from all over the world

According to the report provided by the Mexican Ministry of Energy, to meet the needs of Mexico's average annual growth in electricity consumption of 5.6%, the country's investment in electricity will reach 583 billion pesos (about USD52 billion), of which 38.8% of the funds will be used for the construction of power plant, 22.2% for transmission grid infrastructure, 23.3% for distribution network, 12.8% for maintenance, and 3.4% for other investment projects.
